ABC Entertainment executives honored the “General Hospital” cast and crew last Friday, May 10, 2024, by dedicating Stage 4, where the popular and award-winning soap opera is filmed, as “The General Hospital Stage.”
Last year, “General Hospital” marked its 60th anniversary , and is currently the longest running TV scripted drama in production. “General Hospital” holds the record for the most Outstanding Daytime Drama award wins, taking home the prestigious Emmy ® Award a record 16 times. Filmed in Hollywood, California, the show has aired 15,468episodes to date.
